Bringing people together across Berkshire
Driven Forward is a not-for-profit Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We support adults across Berkshire who feel lonely, isolated or excluded, and people who are vulnerable or face barriers to getting involved in their community.
Our aim is to create opportunities for people to connect, take part and feel included.
Our approach
We believe people should have a say in the support and activities available to them. By involving the people we support in planning and organising, we help bring together people from different walks of life.
This includes people experiencing homelessness or insecure housing. We work alongside people, recognising the contribution everyone can make.
Funds support the charity’s running costs, and any surplus is reinvested in our work.
Aims & Activities
In Berkshire we provide organised user-led trips to i.e. allotments, shopping trips, garden centres, creative arts, activities where Volunteers remain beside adults throughout both the journey and activity.
We provide access to a community hub “drop in“ facility with a kitchen to provide refreshments and meals and access to co – ordinated support services, including access to online learning.
